Belize is Open!

COVID-19 Information

Belize is open for travel!  Here are the latest travel updates as of July 12, 2022:

  • ​Belize is fully reopened, with no restrictions!

  • Mask wearing is no longer mandated in public spaces. 

  • Effective June 12, 2022, departure Testing is no longer required for US-bound air travelers.

  • Bars and Nightclubs are now allowed to operate, restaurants are fully reopen

  • NO TESTING is required for entry as of July 12 regardless of vaccination status

  • Belize travel insurance is optional and not mandatory.

  • On July 12, the new Statutory Instrument #100, repealed all previous public health measures.
