Can tourists and foreign nationals travel to Belize?
Tourists and foreign nationals are able to travel to and from Belize via the International Airport by commercial or charter flights. To travel to Belize you must provide proof of a negative PCR test for COVID-19 within 72 hours or your flight or test at the airport at your expense ($50 USD per person).
What is the Belize Health App?
All persons travelling to Belize must download and register on "The Belize Health App" before entering the country. The app provides a unique code that all persons must have to enter the country. The app is free to download on both iOS and Android. This App serves as a digital pass into the country and also works for contact tracing in the case of a postive case.
For parents: You are able to register your children under yourself within the app.
The app works to help belize #stopthespread of COVID-19.
Are COVID-19 tests required to enter Belize?
Yes. In order to travel to Belize, every single vistor without exception must provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of your arrival. Should you not be able to provide this you are required to test upon arrival at the airport at your own expense ($50 USD per test). A negative result is required for you to continue on your trip.
Should you test positive you will be required to quarantine in country for 14 days at your expense. If available, you may be able to quarantine at Still Waters after your trip.
Do I need to wear a face mask in Belize?
Face masks are required in public spaces and should be worn during your flight, deplaning, and throughout the entire arrival process in the airport and on any public transportation in country. Throught Belize, masks are required in public when intracting with persons outside your party.
At Still Waters, you are required to wear masks when interacting with caretakers or any other outside parties (i.e. meal delivery & golf cart rentals). You are not required to wear a mask when enjoying your private pool or beach.
Is public transportation open in Belize?
Yes. Pubic transportaion in Belize is operating via buses, water taxis, and domestic airlines. Social distancing is required to queue, and a face mask is required for the entirety of your journey.

Are restaurants and other food establisments open in Belize?
Yes. Restaurants and cafes are open in Belize but you are required to practice social distancing and there may be capacity restrictions. Many restaurants are being Gold Standard certified and you are encouraged to visit these establishments.
Are businesses and tourism attractions open in Belize?
Yes. Social distancing is required and you are requied to wear a mask in any public space. There are new restrictions in regards to capacity for all tourism sites. These restrictions will reduce group sizes and provide a more intimate experience to enjoy.
